does anyone over here on the islands know where to buy pvc and or wood for making stringers? maui is very limited in the pvc dept. and I have not been able to find any place that sells wood for stringers. thanks and aloha.

For PVC you need to check the places that suply materials to the sign making shops. You can also google it on the internet
for wood you can use anything from plywood to doorskins but you need equipment to cut it to size or you could find a woodworking shop to cut it for you. You may also want to check home depot or a local lumberyard
