for those of you riding a quad fish – what fin set-up do you find works best? – FCS boxes.

Howzit Tim, I have a quad fish in my shop right now and am going to install the new FCS plugs in it. Just for extra strength I put patch of 4oz on the deck over the area the plugs will go. I do this because it seems the shapers take more foam off the deck on fishes which weakens the deck. Going to take a pic and post it when done.Aloha,Kokua

cool – what fins do you plan on using?

Howzit Tim, The guy getting the board has his own fins from another fish and I didn’t ask him which ones he has. As the glasser I leave it up to the buyer to pick the fins unless they are clueless and then I advise them as to what will work best. I was just with him today and he gave me a video he shot of a bunch of the pros at Pine Trees on Thanksgiving. should be an interesting vid.Aloha,Kokua
