I’m getting a 8’2" double wing pin shaped and decided on a quad fin setup. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the quad vs. the tri? I tend to surf New Jersey such a Manasquan where the waves can be hollow, waist to head high. I’m 6’3", 200 lb, and I figured the quad setup will make the larger shortboard turn quicker on takeoffs of the hollow waves. What do y’all think?
