Questions on making a 6'3" bump wing swallow from 6'7" A

First off this blank is more pulled in than I expected. So i laid some curves on it and what I came up with is a 6’3" x 14.5" x 19.75" x 14.5" which I would like to make 2.5" thick. The bump wings are 11" from tail so the 14.5" is just in front.

Questions: for some reason having the same nose and tail width seems odd. Is it?

Also, the 14.5" nose seems wide like a fun shape but the curves don’t look bad to me…would I be better off narrowing it down to like 13?

Am I even in the ballpark putting the bumps 11" from the tail (this would put them right on the backs of the side fins in the standard tri fin set I plan on using for this board)

I am of average ability and weigh 150.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Oh and one other thing…if I make no adjustments, the rocker would be 4.25" nose and 1.5" tail.

The only limitations that you wind up with is, too much nose rocker from being forward on the blank or an eggy style of shape of which you don’t have enough width. On my bump squashes, I put the bump at 13-1/2" with the tail width at 14-1/2". I just shaped a 5’8"x 18-1/2"x 11-1/2" nose x 15-1/8" tail x 2-1/4" before deeply concaving the deck- center 1-5/8". This let me get a fuller rail with a lot of foam removed from the center. Fully small wave east coaster to get lift and speed instantly

Really? tail width of 14-1/2" and thats BEHIND the bumps…

I try to get my wings or bumps at about the cord of the fin. This way the fin and rail are breaking the water at the same place, the board sets its rotation around the fin, combinded with a change up in planshape at the same place, comprende amigo

Thanks Jim…that makes sense to me. I really appreciate the advice. My first bump wing attempt.
