I havent made a ton of surfboards in my life, but I have had made a handful. This is my first semi gun though and I would appreciate some help. I am trying to figure out how thick to make my rails? I know they should be thicker than your average shortboard but have much thicker?

Thank you for the input. I shaped it to about 2.75 inches thick. I went with the modern Hawaiian rail. It turned out quite nicely. Now we shall see how she surfs.
