Maybe I missed it, but could not find that this had been yet posted for Swayhogs: The 2009 Biennial Surfboard Auction sponsored by Quicksilver and produced by Randy Rarick will be held July 18-19 at the Blaisdale Center in Honolulu . The event two years ago produced $600,000 in sales. There were an amazing number of outstanding vintage boards displayed and auctioned. A fun event for any of you that can make it over to the islands this summer.

Right, I never was good at typing numbers. Or maybe it’s cuz July 17 is my birthday and I try to avoid that date at my age. View all the boards and talk story that day, then dinner at Dukes Waikiki that night. Let’s all celebrate!
