Re: A bunch of bs about GG, fall line surfing, mats and surfboards.

I have the video “Shapemakers” and it shows an interesting flex tail surfboard by a guy in Australia - Mitchell Rae. It looks like he does a flex spoon tail with some sort of soft, waterproof foam glued in after it’s glassed for volume? Anybody know more about this? Maybe similar to “Pendaflex” down San Diego way?

Mellor- Can you post where to get that vid and also more on “Pendaflex” where, contact, etc. Cheers

Is available now on Wetsand.com. I’ve bought some stuff from them before and they deliver. Chuck Menzel has agreed to help us out with the Swayaholic’s raffle by donating some Wetsand stuff. They also have a very fine surf forecasting section and constantly updated online shop for surf goodies. Support 'em… they support us! Penda/Pendo - not sure. San Diego area… flex tail with soft foam deck in the tail area. http://www.wetsand.com/store/product.asp?ProdId=603

Steve Pendarvis (could be spelled wrong) is an old friend from way back he is totally stoked and builds some really far out stuff, that works. He is a guy that wetn his own way and has developed a breed of board both unique and functional. Check his stuff out it is certainly worth the effort to track down in Point Loma somewhere.
