I rode it on Thanks Giving Morning at Marina Beach in waist to a foot over head waves. I have it hidden at my house in a safe place and am waiting for TJ to grab it on his trip south or waiting for further instruction. LeeV has the book that goes with it. John has the board bag. I used a big True Ames Greenough fin in it instead of the fins that came with the board. Mike

let’s hope , once the “Auslocks board” actually gets launched , Australia-wide , that the fins , board bag , and legrope stay with it . Surely that’s not TOO difficult a thing to ask / do , is it ???
I wonder if the rest of the world will ever get to read the entries in “that book” that went with Amby’s board ?
(It would have probably been easier if , when everyone rode the board , they had posted a paragraph about how the board went , and the sort of waves they rode it in , in a thread here on the forum at Sways , so EVERYONE could share in the adventure . But that would have required some effort.)

Amby , was there a time frame on that board , eg: back in hawaii within a year or something like a week maximum at each person’s place ? [otherwise , will you EVER see the board again, in Hawaii ??]

It rides good. Not the best surf,but fun. It’s more board than I’m accustomed to right now so it took awhile to get used to. Would have been a fun board today. Kind of big open faced waves. Let me know what yah all want me to do. I can drive it up to Santa Cruz or I’ll pack it up and ship it. Mike
