recommendation for infusion resin

Anyone playing around with infusion these days?   I’m planning on making another CF ukulele, and I really didn’t like the messiness and rushed panic of trying to do a hand layup, get all the compound curves right, then get it under vacuum before the resin kicked.   I was thinking infusion would be a nice relaxed way to get everything perfect before hitting it with the resin.    Problem is, I don’t know which resin to use.   I see resin research is offering an infusion epoxy, but none of the retailers I’m familiar with is listing it.  I’m open minded to other options as well, such as vinylester, although I don’t know its properties as compared to epoxy.

So, anyone doing infusions, and what do you recommend?  It’s a relatively small mold area (tenor ukulele), if that makes a difference.  All else being equal, I’d love for it to be cheaper.  :)  Thanks!

If you're familiar with RR, give them a ping and ask Sammy or GL how they can best help you.

As far as alternatives, I guess anything is possible if you modify the resin to suit the process. I know some guys here who are trying to infuse with poly (why I don't know, I thought it was funny).
