I have a vintage ('66) longboard that I’d like to have “refinished.” Nothing major: a couple of minor dings, perhaps new gloss coat and/or polish. Although it’s not a lot of work, I’d still like to have it done by someone who does regular work on, or specializes in, old or classic boards. Any suggestions? I’m in Orange County. Many thanks.

FMC…a '66 classic with very minor dings?!..Don’t touch it!!! Unless you ride it a lot (or plan to), that board is in outstanding condition, and just like the patina on some rare antique, if you leave it alone, it’s “worth” more. Kind of like finding an old classic car in some old lady’s garage…with the original paint in tact! Minor ding repair and polish at the most! aloha, T.
