i recently got a 6’ board from a friend who didn’t take goo care of the board, it has a lot of stress fractures but otherwise in good shape can i apply a layer of resin to the whole board if so what is the best way to do it?
the whole board has to be sanded before applying a coat of resin. you have to use sanding resin. look for more info.in the archives about hot coating. the coat of resin might not do much for the internal structure of the board. if the stress cracks are pretty bad then you might see some delamination. making the board weaker. try the coat of resin…see what happens. might get a good board with a little work…good luck
