morning guys,
just a quick one about setting some new fin plugs into pu/pe boards, im retrofitting some probox to my 8ft pin and some fcs into a friends shortboard.
i have epoxy and polyester resin but i only have white pigment for polyester resin.
how do i work out how much pigment to put in the resin and for the for the fcs im not bothered about pigment so could i use the epoxy?

cheers wouter, yep im aware of the exotherm as ive done a few before but never used pigment before. im going white so the probox’s stand out but i heard adding colour slows the set time down so just wanted to make sure i didnt use too much.
A tiny amount will do… just dip the corner of your stick into the pigment. That’s plenty. I don’t know if it slows the kick time, but it does decrease the high temp of the exotherm (it won’t get as hot, but it will still kick in about the same amount of time).
