I shaped my own board and want to glass it myself but I don’t know exactly what amounts of resin and hardener to use. I bought my supplies from a local surfboard glassing co. I never got any hardener. My first question is what do I get for standered laminating resin and standard hot coat resin? My next question is how much laminating resin to use for one side of a 6’6" egg shaped board? And then how much hardener should be mixed in for a slow cure at about 65-70 degrees. And then if their is any difference for the hot coat? Thanx Tim B

Thanx Tim B …Tim,I would get about gallon of lam and 1/2 gal. of sand(you can go with much less ,but in your case being a novice,I would have some extra on hand,or better to have too much than not enough).11-15cc of cat. to a quart should yeild you about 25-35 minutes gell time@68 degrees, you can ask your supplier,as well, archive information here @ swaylock’s.Herb
