Resin Pigment/Logo Question

I’ve almost finished my first board and am already making plans for a second. I want to pigment the resin this time, but I’m concerned that my logo won’t show through. I’m not planning on using an opaque tint, but I would like it to be fairly deeply colored. When you pigment your resin, do you still lay the ricepaper logo between the two fiberglass layers on the deck? Or do you lay on top underneath the hot coat?

We call it “floating the logo”. On top of the lam, before the hotcoat as you’ve suggested. Use a layer of 4 oz on top of it so when you sand the logo won’t get damaged…
