Ahhhhh! Finally I can post. That was rough, I even called Resin Research directly. Hello, hello, hello Resin Research can you hear me, they aren’t very good at returning calls.
Anyway, I have a question. I brain farted the other day and mixed a batch of RR epoxy with a double dose of additive F and a regular amount of the X-55 for a sanding coat. The fart in question was that I mixed hardener into hardener. Luckly I caught it before I poured the whole thing on the board. So now I have a premixed batch of hardener perfect for sanding coats. I would rather not throw it away and would like to know if it can still be used.
It looks like the X-55 caused the parafin to coagulate and form a waxy film on the mix. Is this bad? Should I skim it off and use it, mix it in? Is it still useable?
Help? I don’t want to dispose of unreacted material such as this. If it’s no good should I kick it off with resin and then throw it away?
Paging Greg Loehr, are you in the building?
Thanks
