resinresearch.net

Finally… a website… only years in the making!! It’s still under construction but it’s a start…

Greg I’m glad you finely have a web site. Look forward to see it up and running. Gordon

i’ve been waiting for this for awhile…thanx!

Oh good!!

I’ve got a thousand questions for you, hope you got all your past data on hand.

Poe Rava

Congrats!

Simple, no flash…I like it.

Yes, no flash… I hate waiting… I just want the info, not a show… so i kept it simple. There’ll be more pages to come.

What? No link… Ha! Just in time to order. Peace, and congratulations, Taylor

Hey Greg - Just looking at the site - one question: Am I missing it or… How much additive “F” per? Ooo, one more, shipping cost figured at time of payment or?

Thanks, man I’m stoked… It’s all coming together. Taylor

I have a page for Additive F coming. It contains a chart which I have to reduce yet.

Hey Greg,

What’s the skinny on UV barrier for the resin?

Tring to get a piece of G10 to test my fin panels against.

Any suggestions?

Mahalo, Rich

I have UV absorber in stock. I’m actually working on packaging for it right now for buying it as an additive. Anyone who wants resin with UV absorber for urethane blanks I have that ready now.

G-10 panels are quite impresive, especially to impact. They aren’t real stiff. They are produced from a rather flexible resin which makes the stuff tough but not real rigid. I am speaking from my sailboard fin experience though. Your results could be different with a 5" fin going 15 MPH than mine was with a 14" fin going 35.

is the UV absorber available at RR Florida??

I’m pretty sure Sam has some there. We’ll be getting more soon as well.

Rich, do you need a 6" tall x 5.5" G-10 fin, double foiled? Bic.

I think I have two extra, but I gotta look around a real mess garage to find it.

Otherwise, I have some G-10 tall fins (around 17" and straight) you can have and cut down.

I’ve been using System 3 SB 112 for few months. I’m curious as to the difference(s) between RR and System3. Advantages vs. disadvantages?

I took a look at your website but couldn’t really glean much info in this regards. One thing I did notice is that your MSDS was a lot more forboding than theirs! Is that just you being overcautious or them not being cautious enough?

One final question if you don’t mind. Your additive F is listed as ‘xylene’. How is this different from the xylene I get at Home Depot?

OK thanks for your time taken in answering my questions.

Nice site Greg, a good source of information for your resins.

I don’t know if you have any interest in selling your resin in Spain, but if you do, here there’s a resin company that suplies most the surfboard builders in Spain, they have their own resins and they also import and distribute Cray valley, the UV catalist and other resins, so maybe they’re interested on importing yours.

Their web is http://www.hegardt.net/ and their email: hegardt@teleline.es and fax: 0034 947 330 709. If you want to write them in spanish, i can translate your text if you want to.

It would be nice having your resin available here.

Coque.

I didn’t know there was an distributor in Japan! I’m in japan and I’d like to use your resin, have you got any phone numbers?

And which product should I choose for using hempcloth on Eps?

Thanks,yoshio.

Greg,

Cool, nice to have the info in print. Love the product, and all the help you have given. This epoxy is THE way to go for the home builder…low odor…low profile…high end board quality. Have fun…
