I just got an email from a guy who wants me to restore a lightning bolt fish he bought.
so heres the catch…he flys in from LA this spring and needs job done in 5 days…
he is meeting up with his son who lives here in norway and theyre going on a surfari.
i said i would need more time than that and also that he should get the restoration done back home before the trip.
any tips on good resto guys in the LA area?

Five days huh? I’m sure somebody will take him up on that. Especially on a board that is sight unseen.
L.A.‘s a big burgh, he shouldn’t have a problem finding someone if he just looks around a little. Makes a lot more sense than forcing a time crunch, as well. Usually “restoration” and “surf trip” don’t go hand in hand, resto’s are for wall hangers, and daily drivers and step ups are for surf trips. Just sayin’.
five days for me when he lands here. not for someone in LA doing it before spring time 
just figured i would send him in someones direction as a good deed. guess ill google it…
