Hey Louis nice set up ! I’m about to start building my own machine, was curious about the cutting disc used on the APS3000 ? I was thinking of using stepper motors over servos, is that what you have on there?

Steppers will work fine and be cheaper (for ocasional use - not pro level machine). I do not like the disk cutters as well as the router cutter - easier to build and handle all the way around. As Louis did earlier, just use an endmill or bullnose/radius router bit and start cutting - I havent seen the grit discs readily available. When you need the grit bits you will have already made a redesign and built another machine using heavier hardware. Have fun!!
