Riding from the center of a board?

I love my mp for beachbreak and I ride it at my local breachbreak more then any other spot even though I live in land of points 805. Like above I find it out runs many sections and still has a nice glide some what like my 9’ noserider. It also works great on choppy wind swell days when perfect little peaks have a little bump in the face.

i often ride in the center of the board

I like to surf from the centre of the board for a few reasons…1) you are able to generate more speed by pumping with your weight over the part of the board with most volume, 2) you can easily step forward or back 3) it helps develop a laid back style (still working on that part though :)   )

I recently had a custom 5’11 single fin made, based on thr Bali board… I love it so far and feels like the best board in my quiver…by pushing the widest part of the baord forward off centre it enables surfing from the middle and hanging 5… if you want more details on the specs let me know

I totally agree!

The single I posted previously can turn from two feet in the centre of the board. The rail shape, and single to pronounced double to vee makes it want to go to rail easy. My single turn better than my fish, and quad.

Jackie, dims would be sweet, and a couple rail/contour shots would be nice as well.  Thanks.  Looks like it is a fun one!

give me your email address and I can send you the PDF design sheet.
