for Glass?, no pics, I use a broom handle and some string, very technical, one day I will invest in 2 pieces of ply with ‘U’ cut out the side.

Think of the toilet paper holder in your bathroom. That’s about as easy as it gets.
Mounted on hinges, folds flat against the wall when not in use. Works well for my tiny workspace.

Deanbo…you could make something work for free. Personally, i have a piece of 1in pvc about 3 inches longer than a roll of glass with some rope running though. You can take if from there.

you could always extent the rope up to a couple hooks in the ceiling.

You got a ceiling right? Why not do like Bizgravy, but make it swing from the rafters? If you made it long enough you could bolt it to the ceiling, then strap it to the wall, when you needed the glass it could swing into place like Tarzan!

Haha well it would be great if the ceiling wasn’t 7ft. And offset by a air duct going right over my racks. And my shop wasn’t used by other people.

another thing i used to do was use my shaping racks as my glass role holder. Just put the two ends of the pvc pipe in each “U” of the rack and line it up infront of your board. This only works of course if your shaping racks aren’t fixed to the floor.
