Rusty Dwart Dimensions

Does anyone know the nose and tail widths on Rusty’s new Dwart model? Ideally on the 5-10, 6-0, or 6-2.

Thanks,

Tom.

A 6’0" Dwart is on average

15 N  21 M 16 T  2 13/16 th   just a touch more nose rocker then a fish.

I just built a 6-7 copy recently.  I didn't have any dimensions.  I just liked the shape.  I didn't put the wings on.  Just a smooth rail line into a generous round tail.

Thanks for the info. I finished that project this time last year. Went with 16" nose, 21 3/4 wide, 16 1/2" tail. 2 13/16th thick. Easy to surf, but too buoyant for my 145lbs, funny after trying loads of modern fish type boards I’ve gone back to using my old 5-10 twin keel now,

**Year Built: **2009  **Dimensions: **6' 3/4 ** Shaper: **Tom Hawkyard  **Manufacturer: **Tom Hawkyard  **Location: **Salisbury Wiltshire

Te idea behind this was to have a small fish type board that could also be finned up to handle big winter rollers without going like a wet bar of soap in a bath tub.

Full length vee bottom to cut though chop, wide and thick to aid paddle power, double winged round tail.
Twin, Quad or Thruster fin set-up.

Tommy I bet if you pulled it in to 21" and it would have felt a lot different…

I did not notice the year of your post I just have been getting into my Dwart recently.

Cheers

Yeah, I agree with that. It is a bit too wide. I think I’d try it with a double concave next time too.

My "Dwart" inspired 6'1" (actually 6'1" x 20 3/4" x 2 3/4" x 14 1/2" nose x 15 1/2" tail) that I currently have a 2 1/2 fin set up with 5 1/2" Mark Richards side fins and a 3 1/2" center fin... The forward set of wings are chined and the rear wings have a concave terminating at the wing tip plus the rear three fin "boxes" are raised up on small islands that are tapered fore and aft...

im shaping a 5'8, does anybody know nose and tail for the 5'8 model by any chance?

Nice board. I'm thinking about a similar cration. How much rocker did you put on it?
