Rushed an epoxy longboard for trip to Waikiki. Bottom gloss coat has many dime sized areas that didn’t dry right. Here’s what I need:
someone to pick it up at my hotel, sand bottom, brush on one epoxy coat, let dy, no sanding except for the tape lines, deliver back to hotel, will pay money, of course, Or…
Sell the board as is for $300 ( a real deal, 1-weeks old, no dings, and no fin in purchase price). Or…
Wait till next trip and do it myself at someones glassing room???
Hit up Fiberglass Hawaii and get your supplies. . You won’t need much, brush, tape, sandpaper, resin, and go for it. I’m sure you have a lani at the hotel. If you do it tomorrow, you’ll be ready for the South swell on Sunday. Good luck man.
Gotta use a grinder with #80 then #100. I don’t have my grinder with me though I did bring a hard pad and some paper and hotel would kick me out if I did it here. Plus wind is a no-no for any coats. I know FH and will give them a call to see if they have any takers. Mahalo again, L
I’ll let you finish it at my place. I have epoxy, tape and really cheap throw away brushes. Call me ASAP if you want at 239-4260. I am cleaning yard today until 3 PM so you can use my shop until then. I live on the windward side.

Shit it already hit (Saturday), it’s still very water worthy but just can’t keep it in the sun. Probably have to wait till next trip or sell last day here…
