San Diego Fish Trivia:

So I came across this Old School 70’s fish.

The board is 5’6 x 20 ½” x 2 ½” x 16 ½” both nose and tail, 11" swallow tail with a small winger.

Definitely looks like it was intended to be a kneeboard.

Also the deck has prevalent knee pressures.

Anyhow I have been riding it and sharing it with the local groms.

It looks like a leash plug was added at a later time.

The only marking on the board besides the pinline, is a dolphin type fish drawn on both sides of the bottom stringer.

Anyone have an idea of the board’s origin, shaper, label??

It looks like there’s a KG on the nose of the full view shot. If so, I’ll bet it’s Kane Garden or someone from his shop.

How about some close-ups of those lams?

Soooooo, the Kane Garden logo’s, are they stickers?

       Dose the mystery continue?

It is an old kneeboard…you know? The guys that were ripping on fish 25 yrs ago!!! Did Kane Garden exist then? No. I really like all the baords they are making though…cool stuff!

The sticker job was “hooked up” by a neighborhood kid.

This board predates Kane Garden by decades.
