whats highest pay mean. theres guys here getiing $40 per shortboard without fins? how many a day do you have to sand?
$45.00US for shortboards and up from there. We have about a 25 per day gap that we need to fill. We also have a stack of orders for Collectable limited addition Balsa wood boards featuring the Whaling Wall artist “Wyland” Original art work. So we are definantly looking for a full time person who cares about his or her work.

$45 a board? regular short board with futures? for that kind of money I’ll drive up from San Diego!
Def very generous, as standard shortboards seem to be going in the higher teens with excellent
quality. There are sanders who can do 15 a day, with quality, so that price will allow them to
slow down and maybe push the quality even harder…
We hae been looking for an aditional sander and have had a very hard time finding a sander that is good and reliable. As you may know sanding epoxy can be really tricky and you can screw a board up pretty fast. The margins with epoxy lamination are much better than Polyester. We are a dedicated Epoxy lamination shop both over PU and EPS so to us its worth it. Funny I should get a reply to this today as we have finally found a sander that can help with finish shaping and laminating during the buisy times. The whole time the guy was right under my nose, he ended up being a buddy from High School with whom I have surfed with practically my whole life, so it all worked out in the end.
