To the minds at Swaylocks I ask the question: What are the different properties of sanding resin if mixed at 1%,2%, 3%,4% &5% respectively? Thru my archive research i have found everyone recommends 2% but why? Thanks for your time! Paul Zo.

you mean Laminating resin with SA? I used to just eyeball it for repairs, and I have definately put too much in, probably more than 5%… it just feels (and looks) waxy, sand it off, no big deal. I’m sure you can imagine what happens if you don’t use enough…
