If you can break through the tacky surface the resin immediately underneath should be sandable. You’ll need a few sheets of sandpaper to pull this one off though.
so I tried talcum powder, wax, plastic wrap, wax paper all with mixed results.
now I’m trying the thin thin sanding coat with SA…I’m sure that since I didn’t do that in the first place I’m still fkd, but preliminary tests appear to indicate that it’s sanding again without clogging paper.
hilarious…try a poly hot/gloss coat to save time and money over my epoxy lam and look what I get myself in to.
Hi surfthis, I’m about to try and seal a couple of hot coats in whatever crazy way I can without any SA but your comment on kicking interested me… Is there a time limit to after I throw the resin on to when I have to seal it? Or can I throw it on and wait till it is hard enough to move and then seal it for a few more hours?
thanks
