Sanding OH sanding.....

Hi folks! I still have some troubles in sanding: even if the finished board looks totally sanded with no shinies and major bumps, when passing my hand fast on the bottom I still feel very little unevennesses and irregularities. What are your suggestion for a marble-like flat bottom area? Can a 8 inch harder pad velcro backed help? I sand with a 6 inch power pad/medium compound, and grinding with 100, 150, 220, 320 (and sometimes wet 500 plus wet 1000 and abrasive paste all by hand for polished)

Use the 6" for the nose and tail areas. Hope this helps some. Patrick

After hitting the high spots with a disc, you might try hand sanding with a semi-flexible “long block.”
