I got a question about sanding the hot coat. Everything is ready to go just making sure if you use 120 grit (sanding it down), 220 grit (smoothing it) and 320 grit (getting the last scratches out)? Does it also matter what color sand paper you use (will it leave color marks)?Any other recomendations or tips for sanding the hot coat? I am not putting a gloss coat on. thanks…
Sounds like you have a good handle on it. I start with 150 white paper then go to 220 and finish with 320. Both wet & dry which is black and have no problem with color marks. One tip always do the rails first with 400 wet. also use the 400 around the nose and tail area. as these are delicate areas. Marko
