Sanding Through Gorilla Glue Lines

ok, i’ve got a little problem. when i glued up my EPS sheets with GG, i glued too close to where i’d be shaping my rails. so now, i’ve got relatively long Gorilla glue lines on my rails, which makes the rails very uneven and difficult to shape.

what method is best to cut through gorilla glue lines on rails?

thanks

I found a small (palm sized) block of wood with sandpaper wrapped around it did the trick for me. I just ran it repeatedly along the locally raised glue line as needed to reduce the pronounced ridge you are left with after you have shaped and sanded generally. I’m sure someone else will have more experience than me though with this sort of thing and may have a better solution.

Cheers

Rohan

I used a very small stringer planer and it worked great
