What is the name and where can you get the type of glue that you use to stick the sandpaper to the softpad setup? I looked everywhere and only found glue that would stick it on permanently. Not exactly what I wanted!
Feathering disk adhesive by 3M can be found at most hardware stores and at auto supply places.
Any place you can buy car paints or boat building supplies should have it. 3M makes good stuff…ask for “feathering adhesive” It is like rubber cement, when you wear out a disk, just peel it off. I have found that if you leave the disk on for a while, it will peel off itself, so always make sure you slap it down good before you start your sander or else it may take flight at an alarming speed and/or direction knocking stuff off your shelves or scaring the dog!
