Sealing EPS blanks

Hi there, I’m new in here and to shaping.

I’m trying to seal my first board which is an EPS 1.5 and I applied a coat of 1:1 micro balloons/epoxy seal .
I’ve tried to cover the whole top of the blank and I find it hard to do the rails. I used a fairly stiff squeegee and a mayonnaise consistency for the mix.
Before I start the other side and try to finish the rails, it would be great if anybody had suggestions or advices…

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

tape it at the center rail

Thanks a lot.

Shall I try to do a “coat” or just fill the little holes all along the blank?

cheers

Slather it on, work it in a bit, then squeegee as much as you can off.

Get yourself a more flexible squeegee for the rails. An old credit card does a good job.

A new credit card does an even better job, especially if you want to bring down overheads and reduce repayments.

Haa haa Good one! Thanks for the tips…
