This is my first post. I feel like I'm in over my head here. Please excuse my ignorance. I am a novice surfer living in Baltimore, MD. I am 30 yrs old, 6'1", 185 lbs. Just got a 6' 2" Clark Foam fish blank and was looking for any help or advice for shaping this so I don't just ruin it. I will be primarily surfing smaller mushy east coast waves on the Delaware and Maryland coast. Please let me know if I need to provide more info. A friend of mine with shaping experience will be assisting me with the process and allowing me to use his garage and all his tools, I just was looking for some additional help or info. Can't thank you enough for any response.
post: post pictures and descriptions of your blank, of yourself, of your favorite beaches, of your favorite boards, post progress picture of your board, of your shaping room, etc etc etc. The more you share about yourself and your project, the easier it is for the pundits to give you genuine personalized help. That's free too, and there are some very helpful and experience boardbuilders here.
