I just moved to the big island, Hilo side because my girl goes to school here. I’m having my tools shipped out, but I have nowhere to shape at my house. Does anyone have a location that I could use/rent a few hours a week here and there? I just need to make myself a few boards, and one or two for some friends. If anyone knows somebody, i would seriously appreciate it; and if its relevant, I’m shaping for “personal use” only, not profit. Not trying to step on toes, just scrape out some boards for myself and a few friends, as well as possibly watch somebody more experienced work. Cheers

I like the Winnebago idea. I’m really just looking for garage space, the problem being all the car ports I see are dirt floored with no walls, so cleanup would be impossible. I can glass in the yard on roofing felt. I just need somewhere that I can hang a light and can be vacuumed- a shaper on the other side of the island said I could come watch him shape but I think it’s unlikely he’d rent me time in the bay considering he does it for a living.
