Shaping first longboard help wanted

I’m shaping my first longboard I have done shortboards and fisha before bu want some advice on dimensions. I want a nose rider so I was thinking 9’6 x 20 nose x 23 mid point x (?) tail x 2 7/8 I’m 190 x6’6 also what kind of contours ? Rais ect any advice is always appreciated. Thanks everyone !

2Tall, If this is strictly for noseriding, I'd go with 50/50 rails. Soft all the way through the tail. This will let the water wrap around and help hold the tail in. Concave in the nose and single fin of course. Slight kick in the last 12" of bottom rocker maybe a 1/4" to 3/8". Square tail, 16" at a foot up. It is all personal preference. Good Luck.

Single or double in the nose ? Any concaves throughout the rest o the board ? Also I was thinking about making a dfin 10 inch sound about right ?

2Tall, single teardrop concave in the nose. I prefer a flat bottom to a Vee in the tail...old school type. A "D" fin will work, but a box will give flexability in the future. The bottom all depends on how you want to surf it, trim or turns? Instead of dead flat at the beam on the bottom, (rail to rail) drop the rails about 3/8" to 1/2"  so you won't catch an edge in your pivot turns. As always, Good Luck.

Thanks for all the advice blank. I’m in nj so not much turnin more down the line. Surf

So 2Tall, Speed is the name of the game! The flat bottom to Vee will be the fastest, concave in nose gives lift (more or less) and the soft rails hang onto the water longest. If you are a stomp and pivot kind of guy then drop the rails so they transistion better and don't catch.
