what's exact percentage of wax in poly resin for glossing?

I supposed you mean: how much wax in styrene?
I use 3 to 4 % for a 10% concentration.
20ml wax styrene for 500gr of resin

Hi inghi, i think most of the gloss resin here already has wax in it, but looking at my bottle of surfacing agent ( wax), and it says for the final coat (gloss coat?) to add to the resin at a ratio of 1% - 2% by weight. 3%- 5% for hotcoat (sanding coat). Too little and it probably wont sand good ( stay tacky), not sure if too much will cause problems.
Qestion also, had trouble with adding wax on my last hot coat and got a bunch of small pieces of wax on the surface of the board. Should I have warmed it up before adding or maybe didn't mix it well enough?

Sounds good.
Never tried to do more or less.
But not enough will stay tacky and too much will make the resin too fluid.

Pardon me, Sparky I’ve forget say u that i speak of normal lamination silmar 249 that i use for glossing with little amount of wax
