your garage is too clean…
I’m suspicious.
tommy,
do you still have that template? if you don’t mind sharing it, i need to make a new set of stands. i really like this setup. let me know. thanks.
erik
i do have the template. i attached a copy of it to the bottom of my post as, what i intended to be a, full-sized jpeg. if that doesn’t work for you PM me your email address and i’ll send you the illustrator file or full sized pdf - whatever you’d like.
cheers,
tommy
tommy’s garage is about to get dusty…
kirk
here’s a picture w/ some sawdust, although most of its outside…
i thought i was being pretty ingenious by nailing the boards together and sawing out all four boards at once. it worked great on the straight lines but sucked getting into to corners. i would do that differently next time, and, if it would have impacted the performance of the stands this go round, i would have done some more cutting. experience.
you can see in this picture how the curves didn’t come out perfectly
if i’m going to be allowed (by my wife) to shape in the garage it’s going to have to get cleaned up regularly…
Nice racks, Tommy. Next, maybe build some big chess pieces. Mike
pm sent. thanks.
