intuition tells me to go in this order: skin the blank, rough the template, take down thickness, THEN cut the vee in before shaping rails and all the fine tuning that follows. am i on the right track? how about cutting concave. i figured that would have to come as one of the final steps, and would be a real butt-clincher as you’re messing with the final product.
skin the blank
plane to thickness (making certain to leave a little extra thickness for vee wherever necessary)
template
cut outline
rails
blend it all together
concaves
fine tuning
And with vac bagging/sandwich method???
