Shaping video's worth buying

Are the shaping video’s worth buying? Do they cover enough to help visualize the process more than all the sites I’ve read and reread?

I can’t remember the one offered at the local blank shop, buit which ones do you consider to be the most imformative?

Shaping 101 by John Carper in my opinion is very good …

If you’ve read and re-read the archives you should have a basic understanding of shaping?

…if the basics are already understood skip JC’s video and go straight to the Damascus video.

I have a very basic understanding of shaping. I haven’t read EVERTHING. What I have read is repeating it’s self and becoming more familar to me. Learning it isn’t rocket science, but it’s an art that I haven’t seen first hand. Show me something once, I might not be great at it but I will understand it. If I love it, I will be great at it.

My friend put it to me this way," If some hippy stoner dude was able to make a board out of a block of foam, then you should be able to make one out of the blanks they have today"

OK, I went out and paid my $30. for the Shaping 101 movie. i can’t say it looks easy, but just seeing how everthing is done makes all the things I’ve read alot more in reach.
