just a random question....
I've shaped my first few wooden boards and now hooked!
just moved house and turning my garage into a shaping room
any suggestions on wall colour to bring out the wood shapes....
i know the PU blanks show up well against blue's and stuff....any ideas for wood???
any other tips for setting up a shaping room - very much appreciated!
cheers
Light Teal Green or Blue are nice colors for wood shaping.

Howzit Mr. Clean, Beautiful wood, what kind is it.Aloha,Kokua
I was going to say, jungle green, since I tend to shape wood outside, but actually I’d go for all white.
I believe it is wood from the very rare “faux tree”…

Right on Balsa Bill you get my vote. Of course clean up after a balsa board is way easier, but I like your spot.
yep…it’s pure South Georgia faux Wood. Only costs around $250 for a completed board. Martha Stewart showed me how to do these boards.
I just use a lawn blower and the balsa makes great mulch. No never foam.

thanks for the replies - probably be using balsa a lot - but also some paulonia so nothing too dark...
edging towards the teal green myself....
Balsa bill - like your shaping space - awesome!!!
Cleanlines - beautifull wood.....
