I really think there should be a thread talking about logistics services serving shapers and thier performance. Plus also something for new shapers regards packaging - keeping it protected but light.
Generally delivering within the same country is ok but when you go international it gets a bit more complicated.
I was suprised not to find a thread already on this. (searched for “shipping”, “delivery”, “postage”)

Another finding - there tends to be a 1.5m limit for many couriers. You can get access to business rates for one off deliveries through an agent.
shipping on surfboards seems limited to
quite small packages,I would think
using trucks trains and aeroplanes
would prove to be a better choice.
