Shipping to Japan???

Has anyone sent a board (shortboard) from the mainland to japan? specifically from Ca?

looking to find out around how much to expect, and especially what company to use…reccomndations??

…rincon pic for good luck:

Can you send that wave this way? I need some blanks, cloth and would like some rr also. Actually to answer your post. Light shortboards aren’t much over a hundred. You will need a place to send it though. If it is new from the shop they will try to tax ya. Best to go from home address to home address.

some guys here might have some info,

thanks for the help!

G’day Surferguy80,

I dont know about the USA, but I’ve just sent five boards to Amami Oshima (small Island in the South) from Australia that had to go through Narita and that cost me $465AU door to door for a Box 2.2m x 0.6m x 0.45m and about 20kg. (7 1/2 ft x 2ft x 1 1/2 ft and about 44lbs)

If they only had to go to Honshu it would have been about $380.

Hope thats of some help.

Regards

Daren
