What -artz says is a idea. Yrs back i ordered a board that ended up being a thicker egg shape. But the board was easily ridden. Sadly, board was too thick and it felt un-responsive. But a nice egg shape that’s not too thick would definitely be a good transition.
A fish would be a little funner. I mean, you can REALLY lay a rail over - full tilt on a Fish! Not so much on a single finned egg… but you can have a different kinda fun. Well, more of a flow thing…but yeah, just get a board! Something that’s going to float you. But take a extra day to think about it. You don’t want garbage.
