Hey Cycloxsulg…C Street is back side for me so I want the smaller more rockered board. The Last one you posted with the rounded pin tail and the dark rails. I don’t need the training wheels. Can I ride it!!! I’ll wear a leash…Honest…

Maybe sometime after Halloween? I have a place to crash in the Oxnard / Ventura area…as long as I walk the dog, take out the trash and wash the dishes…and wash the car and buy food…Ray…fun stuff

sounds good! Just be prepared…it weighs more than a foam board. I don’t really notice in the water though.

Here’s a couple of my latest ones.  

 

Classic log. 10’ x 23-1/2" x 3-1/8".  10’8" Y us blank green density.  Tail kick and rolled V and blended concave nose. 7x7 deck and 7x4 bottom.  24 lbs

 

Mini Noserider.  8’ x 22-1/2"x 3". Double pvc stringer 1.5lb EPS.  Tail kick in the last 24" that nets about 4" of tail rocker and a nose rocker of about 4".  7x7x4 deck and 7x4x4 bottom.  Deep blended concave that runs half the length of the board.  17lbs

**There's a lot of shapers here on Sways shaping some nice boards. I've been shaping a lot of longboards lately. I'm interested in seeing other shapers, longboard shapes and reading your thoughts about longboard design. I'll start off with this one that I just shaped for my friend Rick Stetson.  Wavecraft  9'6" Stetson Model Nose-Rider 18 1/2 x 23 5/8 x 15 Thickness 3 1/4 Soft chimed rails with scooped concave in nose area for stabilized nose ridding to displacement hull for easy turning and maneuverability 60/40 soft rails with nose and tail blocks. This shape works extremely well in large waves that are well over head as well as great nose ridding ability in smaller surf. — at Wavecraft Shaping Room. Here’s the finished board.

Not a long board but the blank was recycled from an old trashed 9’6 nose rider.This is a 6’6 modified fish. Double wing swallow tail. It’s going to be a quad with a fifth fin option. Had to rework the rocker, rails haven’t been
turned or tucked yet.
