Show us ya Dungers!

There's a constant stream of repairs going through the shop where I make my boards...all sorts of boards, old, new...

And there's the "Winter Projects"  - the fix-it-if-you-ever-get-the-time type boards. These pics were intended as the "before" in a series of before/after shots for my buddy's repair biz, but...hey, winter's never that long. Repair these? I'm glad i'm too busy making new-uns!!!

Theyre great for a point from which to see where we've come...sometimes surprisingly not far - A great outline or foil is timeless.

I love old boards, especially singles, I keep nearly all that come thru my shop, and always on the lookout for more, currently have 11, some need serious repair work....

Hey Mark, yep, those are dungers!

My first board actually came into the repair shop a year ago - new in 1979. Unfortunately I failed to tame my excitement when offering to buy it and the dollar signs lit up in the guys eyes...

So I let it go - a dungers a dunger...
