Show us your blogs and websites...

Hi all I tried this one the other day but maybe the title was too obscure...

I've just started a blog for my work and would be very keen to see how you guys communicate your efforts...

(only had 2 replies in last attempt and I'm sure more of you must be at it...)

Very nice stuff indeed!  I think it would be better to post a few of your best photos here, as a teaser, and then say "click here for more...and let me know what you think!"

Yeah, a lot of guys here have websites and blogs, most have links in their tagline.  Problem with these "show us your blogs and websites" threads (Its been done before), is that guys post theirs, but few check out the others.  So it doesn't provide much feedback.

Your blog is cool, your boards are awesome.  But at the end of the day, this is still a forum, and most of are here because we prefer the "message board" format.  Meaning, keep the blog going, you'll get blog followers, but post your projects here in a thread (we love step-by-step build threads, esp. if you include the goofups and stuff that gets edited out on the website LOL), with photos and discussion.  Keep a link to your blog on your tagline, like you've got.

Again, nice stuff!

Started as an “electronic diary” to record my boardbuilding experiences. May be helpful for beginners as it points out lots of mistakes/revelations made throughout the process.

Thanks for the kind words.

Shortest I’ve done so far is 6’0". I have a 5’10" x 21+ in the planning stages but haven’t started it yet. I have found these diamond tails to be great “daily drivers” for 90% of the days we get here in NJ (waist-head high). Only times I would ride something different is when it’s overhead and hollow, in which case, I’d opt for a rounded pin with a narrower tail; or when it’s under waist high, where I’m going to try out the shorter, wider, flatter version of the DT. Kind of like a Lost Plank.

Hey this is great stuff...

Will you post the 5'10 when you've done it - that was the kind of thing I was thinking of - was playing with the idea of using my usual fish template - probably pulled in a bit with wings along with the diamond tail...

These boards look amazing - absolutely loving the 7ft single with diamond tail...that's a similar outline to one of the templates that Bill Thrailkill has sent me in the past...beautiful!

here is mine…

This is what I’m going after…no wings…but I know the Lost Plank progressed into a Lost Uber Plank with wings. Perhaps I’ll have to learn that lesson the hard way.

needs alot of updating.....
