Show Your Virgin Stick (Pics)

I posted this a while ago just in the wrong section…

Here is my first board. It took me awhile due to no power tools what so ever. But none the less i finished in a night. Still need to do sanding but it rides nice, needs a little more of a powerful wave but still smooth. 6’4 x 19.5" x 2.5"

Criticism appreciated.

It works pretty good for a first shape. I made some mistakes for sure though. The biggest mistake is I didnt thin the tail of the board out enough, the board has way too much volume in the last 1/4.

Sick I love that it looks clean!

I’ll be putting up pics once glassing is finished. About a week. Never been so anxious for a board.

Here is my first attempt. The board was super fun to build and ended up surfing pretty good as well.

Although I’ve had made many boards this is the first one I shaped by myself with a planer (no cnc)

please stop flipping us off (not cool)

Bro that board is dope! What did u use for the graphix?

logo’s printed on the computer

deck was masked and tempra paint sponged on

It came out ok but I wouldnt get too excited about it

This was my first board. Shaped-glassed-sanded-sanded again- then surfed… Stoked ever since. never quite cleaned up the dust in my girlfriends garage!

Ohh, its a 6.4 . EPS/epoxy. Marko blank, easy to work with. Resin research…even easier.

Used all hand tools shaping, so its 10/10 on the “soul factor”.

Used a WM black and decker palm sander, which somehow came out pretty decent .

I like the outline. Looks like a fun board to ride.
