Sidecut to the extreme, really keen to know your thoughts about the concept..

Hi WideAwake. You have been killing it lately with your big labor intensive projects!
Well the main reason for making them was I bought a new Bosh sander and wanted to try it out.
These fins are my attempt at copying what Robin Mair and Lancelot Pearson have been experimenting on over at Hanalei Fins. They call them Flipped Tipped fins. So far they are done only on custom orders, but they are a few months out on a production run of Split Keels with the flipped tipped front fins.
They feel pretty good on my 6’4” Twinzer- might not need the canard fin with the flipped tips.
I think the main theory is to reduce the fin tip vortex drag and turn it into thrust- like most commercial aircraft wings since the 80’s and birds wings.
RFC does a version called Speedwing also. They feel fast and loose on my quad potato board.
