GRAMMAR NINJA, ATTACK!!!..

there. their. they’re.

although they sound the same, the three are very different…you should learn these differences.

Don’t forget the fine local talent of Swaylock’s very own…

Someday when I am richer… sigh Until then, I’ll keep dreaming.

Having shaped over 300 single fins from '69-76, I’d say…those boards were/are junk compared to the new stuff coming out nowadays.

The new boards have the benefit of looking back at the old days, seeing what works and what doesn’t in varying wave conditions, and picking the best of all worlds.

I wouldn’t go back to wooden tennis rackets, motocross bikes with 3" of suspension, 35lbs. mountain bikes, 24lbs. road bikes, or any of that old crap either.

But of course, you are free to decide for yourself.

Good surfing!

Bob Duncan and Lauran Yater are making some great Single fins w/ 70’s outlines and modern rockers. Check the BeachHouse website for contacts. Lauran has been learning from Bob. Some of Bob’s boards were taken to Anderson for information sharing. Paul Gross, Spence, J. A., Wayne Rich have been making them. I here there are some scans of John Bradbury’s via Josh.

Some of the best are here in Ventura / Santa Barbara. Take your pick
