Single fin or 2+1

I gonna order a Christenson C-bucket surfboard,  something around 6,6 to 6,10

The shape of the board looks to narrow in the tail for old a 2+1 set up, looks like Chris made that board to be single fin or quad…

I was thinking to order it 2+1 but maybe will be better go for single fin model…   What do you think guys??  Will work better Single or 2+1??

Cheers amigos

That looks like a really good board.

Depending on where the sidefins are placed, the main issue with a 2+1 is the center box often being up too far to fit the standard ‘thruster’ formula.  A longbox can also affect tail flex.

I started looking for small single fins with the screw tab in front and cutting away at the back of the base so it could overlap the back of the box.

Just order it as a 2+1 with FCS sidebites and then choose wether or not to run them depending on preference or conditions.

I think Rainbow fins makes a rear fin like John explained. Well I know they do since I have one, but not with the rear cut away.  I think they do it with the cut away, too.  That looks like a fun board.  Mike

Personally I would go with a 4 one set up. I love having options.
