We just received our first batch of Skil 100 replacement front shoes. They’re machined from a solid block of 6061 aluminum alloy.
It was a tricky part to design, and took more than 10 prototypes on our 3d printer to perfect the file. Then had to find a machine shop with a 5-axis cnc to make the part.
We’re stoked on how these came out and hope they can bring a lot of out-of-comission planers back to life.
